Just got off the phone with Chops (Dennis)

UPDATE:
Dennis just called us again. He sounds great with all he has been through. He still only has about 70% vision in his right eye and none in his left. They are waiting for some blood to dissipate behind the retina before they can tell how much vision will return. On a more positive note the meds for the leukemia are doing what they are supposed to he is feeling the side effects from the meds so that means they are working. Plus he just went to the doctor and his white count is coming down dramatically. It went from about 150 thousand to 20 thousand and safe zone is like 8 - 10 thousand so he is well on the way with that.

Now with his van................he sold it to a local guy who is in school and working full time with a wife and kids. He plans on continuing with the building of the van that Chops had started on. Chops mentioned this forum and told him to check in once he as time.

As of right now he is still planning on attending NECO .....................a lot will depend on what the next few months bring for him.

He says due to his vision he isn't on the site at all, but he did want me to fill everyone in.

Ditto. I've wanted to call but I'm either worried that I'd bother him or scared that things are going badly. Please let him know that my thoughts are with him for a speedy recovery

Me Three , i was gonna call him but figured i'd leave him alone if hes feeling lousy . don't want to bother the poor guy during all this . tell him we're all here for him & we wish a speedy & safe recovery & see him at Neco finally after all these years .

You party all the time, sleep with different women based on the day of the week. You own a deadly snake as a pet, and little children in your neighbourhood have been going missing for yrs now. While your snake's been getting fatter, I might add.
Maybe you should just stick to "my thoughts are with you, Dennis".

just a quick hello still blind in left eye but doc plans on one more surgery will keep you all posted. Petey sorry to miss yer call looking foward to hearing from ya! Did I really say that? Oh quick up date on chops newest toy I recently acquired a 1950 packard which is keeping me from getteng to board takes twice as long to work on with only one eye lol
