Weather Stripping??

Post by BMBMVAN »

My van has been setting for 4 years now and it's time to get it finished, at least for now. We got the clear coat done a couple days ago and started putting everything back together, but the weather stripping on the doors has seemed to shrink, crack, and just looks horrible.
Can anyone recommend a place to get all the weather stripping for my 94? Someplace that maybe offers a whole kit.
Still under construction!

Here's a start. Soft Seal
Steele Rubber Products
Dealership
I don't know if the first two will have them but it's worth a Google. They do offer weather stripping by the foot and may have some that will match. \:D/

Here is one of the links found in the links section on this forum:

http://www.soffseal.com/

I know they offer the driver and passenger door seals and I left it off with them the last time I contacted them to send them samples to see what they could match up.They are in Ohio if memory serves me correctly.

The front and sliders doors shouldn't be too hard to find, I've seen them on a few sites and I also found the front door stripping at the local autozone. The rear doors will be more expensive. And I believe they are a dealer sourced part only. I've found them on a couple sites, but I get the feeling they get them from the dealer as well. Here's one, it's cheaper than what the dealer quoted me for my 94, but still pricey.

JC Whitney has the weather stripping for the driver, passenger and slider.

say that's a pretty good find. The last time I priced the rear door stripping for my 89, it was up over 300 bucks. I just wish they had a pic of the weather stripping on the site. The sponge foam block at the top center of my doors is dry rotted, if the replacement didn't have that, it'd be pointless.

B&M stacked plate trans cooler. Bilstein shocks. Belltech sway bars front and back. New head unit, speakers and subwoofer. Needs paint and a new headliner.

I can't remember all I've forgotten about that....

Front Door - part number 15161704 (both sides the same)
Slider - 15101551

What kind of rear doors? Look up these numbers on that site listed above, they are gm parts so they will be the same as what comes on the van new. I replaced the rear seals on my dutch doors, they were gm parts.
