Sliding door spacer
Hi all, I remember, back some years, with full size vans, there used to be DOOR SLIDER EXTENDERS available to space the doors further out for clearence for wide tires. I don't have a van yet so I don't know the specifics, But I'm throwing this out to ya'll to think about. Just an idea. Signman

Re: Sliding door spacer
Honestly-I don't remember seeing a thread about that.Doesn't mean someone hasn't done it and I missed that thread.Maybe someone else will chime in with a ref.
Always wondered if fab'ed barn doors to replace the slider wouldn't be one solution.

Re: Sliding door spacer
I'm with skippy, when I was building my Van, I wanted to bring the slider out, I must have spent 6 months trying to find something but no luck. The only other way is to put in mini tubs. I do have 60 tires on the rear with 8" rims but can't open my slider all the way.
