Well, I've been to the "96" twice and neither time did I get to see the van. It's finally reveled. That's a very well deserved VOM. It's one of those life mysteries as why my van got there before your's. That thing is a master piece. Finished or not. You're my inspiration as you are to so many other Astrosafarian brothers. Congratulations. :supz: :supz: :supz:

Larry is a True 'Old Skool, Hot-Rod kinda guy' who I really admire.... > along with Smiliesafari and SafariRob.

Congratts on making the "Front Page" of ASV Larry ...... :supz:

I had the pleasure of meeting Larry and his wife Susan, when I flew down from LA on vacation to Central Florida to meet up with some friends, visiting from London.

I drove across FL to meet Christine "DL' and her wonderful family, then I drove 500 miles in 7 hours to Southern Alabama to meet Larry and his Custom V8 Astro, sportin` an Awesome Corvette rear end.

Read my post and see more pics of Larry`s van here. viewtopic.php?f=26&t=770

Congrats Larry. You deserve this in so many ways. Very Kool van.
We will be watching even if you did say it was a done deal.
Later, Larry / Merlin
1989 RS Astro, V-8 and maybe a shift it myself tranny, still deciding on this one. Dutch doors, Cad tail lights, shaving the rest now. 12 bolt rear end was in the van when I got it but changing how it sets to lower.

Larry and I are on the same page in what we like to see in custom modifications, and we love to see them applied to StroFaris.... but body mods always take soo much time if you can only get to work on your van the weekends.... but the final result is truely worth it.

We both agree that grey or white primer is a koool color for a hotrod van to be seen in while under construction....

Hey guys,,thanks for all the positive comments. Been a long haul on this one for sure. A heart attack, a move south and a loosing my a__ in the stock market while day trading slowed this project down some but we'll geterdone this summer or at least in primer, ready for paint.
Thanks again for all the help and advise. Bunch of great folks,,thank you all.
