can a toasted master cylinder cause the front brakes to stick on?

I wish I had more knowledge on these braking systems. I would think that if there is a very minor leak between the hydroboost and the MC, that you would have brakes applied some.

The front brakes on my AWD have had a dragging problem a couple of times due to bad front hoses to the calipers. As a matter of fact I have a set sitting here waiting for me to install.
