A heat gun and plastic putty blade will work wonders on those stickers.
One of the eraser wheels for a drill will aswell. 3M also makes a liquid remover but I've found it makes more of a mess than anything.

I used a single edge razor in a holder. It got the vinyl off without any trouble but left most of the adhesive. I removed the adhesive with mineral spirits. \:D/

New Front Brakes.

These have to be the easiest ones I have ever done, 90 min job including a quick trip to the auto parts store to get the pads!

they did not have ceramics on the shelf, so I was forced to go semi-metallic, I had it all apart and did not want to wait!

Deposited the check that will be paying for Green's trans rebuild.

Paid 5kids (fivekids) Dan from the old forum for an Astro cargo net and a set of 1998 dealer service manuals.

swapped out the belltech swaybar with the broken bracket, put back in the stock bar with new bushings and brackets till I can find replacements for the belltech. spent more time feeling around for dropped endlink hardware in the lower control arm than wrenching.

Yesterday: Drove Grumpy up to Delavan, WI for a pre-BA/BE Rally gathering. Grumpy gave me no trouble on the trip. Fun day several people showed all of us driving clapped out cars/trucks. We all headed to the local scrap yard trying to find pieces we needed. Didn't find any new hubs for Grump, but located a nice windshield and they only want $40 for it. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get it pulled before they closed. They also told me that for $10 I can take the sheet metal out of a cargo, so I can turn Grumpy into a half panel. We all walked out with a bunch of free misc stuff, the only thing that was actually bought was an Audi door for $20. I so need to head back to this yard. After we returned to the day's base, the wrench fest began. Grumps, a Sube, the Audi, and a Toyota mini camper all received a little love. I think Grumpy was the only one that didn't improve any though. The host's mother kept us supplied with brats, watermelon, and some really yummy German potato salad. (Why have I never had this before?) Through somewhat careful driving I managed to squeak out 20 mpg for the day.

Today: Accidentally put the key into the slider and the key turned. When I bought the van all the tumblers were frozen. I had twice before sprayed lube into it, tried getting it to turn and got nothing. Last attempt was a couple weeks back. Now it turns smooth as butter. With this one, every lock on the van works with the key again. Yea!

i haven't posted in here in awhile... (you're probably happy about that. lol)

with my mom's 90 new yorker in my possession the last couple of weeks to change the ps pump, i've had the ny'r on jackstands and been driving the 99. i love this thing.. i just wish i could stretch out my friggen left leg when driving

i washed it last night. i bought a 3M headlight restoration kit for the 99 to use on the turn signals and corner lights. this kit actually looks like it might work.... not holding my breath though http://www.shop3m.com/60455033872.html

i plan on cleaning the carpet and actually re-installing it and the 3rd row seat back into it at some point real soon. depends on how much yard work/taking Jen shopping i end up doing today.. lol
