I have had the forum go slow, but generally when that happens even the home page is slow. I had some problems this week, but it turned out to be my computer networking was not functioning properly because of a program I installed. I removed it and all was well.

It would be nice to figure out why some people seem to experience very slow speeds all the time while others don't.

OK, I was moving around from a forum to the index and then clicked a forum and then back to the index and then back to a different forum 6 times.

Averaged 18 seconds to switch after each click.

Once in the forum, I can scroll thru the threads just fine with no delays.

EDIT
It took 28 seconds to "post" the above message.
I was told getting my beauty sleep was a waste of time.

Slow.

This site takes so long to load the home page...no wonder we have very little activity or visitors.

To find out if it's you or the server you can run a traceroute from pcpitstop.com. I also use it to see if my workstation is running efficiently and my bandwidth is good by running the "Full Tests" it's free and you can run them anonymously.
