Helloooooo from Switzerland
Hi everybody,
I am oliver born in year 1971 from Neuchâtel in Switzerland.
I bought my first Astro in september 2002 it is a 1993 LT ext Awd.
after 6years using the astro for my restaurant I decided to sell everythink and to keep the astro for traveling in europe.....
Start to work on the van....
for traveling i need (((bass))) , bed, fridg and space for my montain bike
The bed size is 95cm X 195cm (37.4in X 76.77in)
to save space,i bolted the passenger seat upside down
"Lunch Time"
"my camp" in a Camping
me at the begin, ready for a big trip !!!
Astro goes everywhere, on the train..
... on the boat...
on littel mountain road.....
thru tunnel.......Astro goes everywhere...... =D>
I love Alps that turns, turns, and turns
nice place to make camp
slope up to 18%
no more trees up 1800m/ALT(5905feet), is different from the mountains in the USA . you have trees in the mountain at 2300m/ALT(7500feet)
i am very happy AWD work good
The end of my trip after crossing 8 country and 12'700km (7891miles)in 4month
excuse me for my writting in english its maybe not very well... A speek and a write in french or a littelbite German.

Welcome!
Just awesome!!
(And don't sweat the english. Plenty of folks in our own country don't do as well and it is the only language they know!)

welcome!
fantastic pictures!! =D>
It's amazing to see an Astro, especially a vintage one, out of it's normal element.
by the end of the 4 months, you need a shave Oliver ..
