New gal on the block
Hello everyone!
Well I am now the proud owner of my first Van! She's a 1989 Safari Touring with all the bells and whistles. Thanks to some other members locally, there are already plans afoot to begin the customization of Aiyana's (thaz me btw) Van. Nothing major yet just a few cosmetic things. I had a good friend and fellow Vanner check this one out prior to my purchasing it.
It's a V/8 conversion, I know it has a posi rear end and gobs of power, but not being much of a gear head yet I'm not exactly sure what all the goodies are. I was told however that the conversion was done right! Yaaaay! For now I'll content myself with adding my touches to make it "mine" so to speak. Yes she's got a few bumps, bruises and sags on her...kind of like me! So I know well get along famously!
As for me, I'm widowed, getting long in the tooth, (ain't we all) but still young at heart and looking forward to getting the rear seats outta this van to make room for camping stuff and of course...my kites! And yes...if you tell me to "go fly a kite"...I most likely will!
cheers!

Welcome aboard! It does my heart good to see another SAFARI owner here! They are so much more regal than the Astro! LOL!!
But seriously, you have come to the right place to pick up inspiration, tips, and tricks to turn your van into the one you want it to become.
Take care and be blessed,
James

Welcome to ASV, my northern neighbor, or should I say, "another" one of my neighbors to the north.
Is that kite boarding or dry land kiting?
