Shock question
Whats the beffiest rear shocks i can find? I have a mobile detailing business and the 1000lbs of water inside my van is killing me. Not to mention the other 500+ lbs of misc stuff. I currently have gabriel shocks that are prob 2 yrs old now, Every bump i bottom out so i need some newer stiffer shocks. Any help is appreciated.

Best shocks-bilstein, but you should look in a product called timbren as well. Hope this helps, Jim

i'd go with either monroe load adjusting shocks or max air (air shocks) for the amount of weight you have in there constantly.

Your van is the perfect vehicle for Timbrens or an add-a-leaf due to the weight you carry. Then go with Bilsteins, Ranchos or KYBs for shocks.

I'm with lifted, the add-a-leaf is a nice addition I've never used the Timbrens but would like to test them out i hear good things about them.

i have ranchos adjustable ones 99000 series and on the softest setting with just the seats and family in the it is still a pretty comfy ride apparently just you can see the rear end sits higher, reduced body roll. You can also feel when you go from road to drive way and pot holes seem a little deeper but tires stick to the road. On the hardest setting there is little to no noticeable body roll until cornering at over 60KHM or so (can't remember exact number was quite some time since i had it set on hardest) also I can see passengers bounce a little bit when i hit potholes and i can feel(and somewhat hear maybe because of my tires) the cuts in the road to allow for expansion. in my opinion it gives a nice middle ground between a 3500 pick-up(you know shook up by every nook and cranny of the road) and the mushy dead leafs feel, i like being able to feel the road but it's still a rather comfortable ride for those 6+ hours trips
