Haha! It was 80° here by me. I'm sure Mr 9dawgs was wearing sandals & shorts again:):):) Nice tree, how well do the fresh trees keep down here in Florida? We have a fake one...
My van sat in the driveway today like it does most of the time now. I only get out a couple times a week to do errands & such. No more cartin' kids around! (I kinda miss those days)

Ha! Sorry Crash...I was just thinking of how funny it was that I was sweating as I was loading the tree on top of the van...so I had my mom snap a picture. I was wearing jeans, boots and a jacket a couple of weeks ago because it dipped down into the 60's! Hopefully it'll cool off a lot between now and next week when I head up to the Panhandle for my deer huntin' trip with my sons...

Real trees do well...you just have to keep water in the stand. I like the way the real ones smell up the house. We put up our fake one last year but it was kind of a bummer... If you're not vacuuming up pine needles when you take it down, it wasn't Christmas!!

Picked up a Transgo shift kit for my 2000 to hopefully fix it's very hard 1st-2nd shift. Ordered all of the fittings i need from Summit to get the trans cooler plumed. I wanted to avoid using any hoses and do it with all steel lines but i just said the hell with it when i realized the cooler uses 5/16" lines and the van's are 3/8". Got a kit to add a drain plug to the pan.
Went to check out this van yesterday. It's a 99 AWD with 120K on it and a motor that knocks. Everything else is pretty nice. The guy wants $500 for it. I think it's a good deal and I'm still considering it, but i don't really want to do all the work.

yesterday--got new headlight doors, and the lower fan shroud repaired...
today--looked at the snow on my van and dreamed...hopefully can get something done on it tomorrow...
reaper--thank you...that's a nice looking '88 you sold...you should have held onto that one!!!
plowed through huge drifts, didn't get stuck, and enjoyed every minute of it - we got hammered with a blizzard - not all that much snow, but with the wind - HUGE DRIFTS - lots of cars in the road - just left there, and I enjoyed driving around them, especially the 4x4's had to laugh - want the "manvan" to tow you out? LOL it's been fun!
