Any info on AWD Savana or Express? Forums, etc...

Post by rlsllc »

DOn't hate me, but I am thinking about it, and looking for info. I want to see pics of the front drive train, can they be lifted, etc. I'm sure a 2-speed case swap is possible.

(DOn't = Freudian slip, LOL)

I saw that on another astrosafari site where they all seem to be into lift kits. 4 and 5 inch are the common lifts. Look at astrosafari.com.

Thanks for the reply. I'm still thinking about getting a full size AWD van, but my financial advisor (my wife) thinks it is a really bad idea to take on a payment at this time, and has suggested keeping the '99 Safari as a primary family car for now. And when I say suggested, well anyone who is married can guess the rest. It rhymes with demanded lol.

I just wish AWD was available in the 3500 series van, I like 8 lug wheels and the extended wheelbase, HD parts, etc.

I try to avoid the [Rule 6b] site for political reasons. Maybe I'll slip over there unannounced. :-$

Thanks again.

Full-size van with lift would be great, Gary's right Overland's did sell a 4" lift spindle kit, not sure what the current deal with Dan's business is but that is an option, although if the Wifey has outlawed it, its all a moot point :muhaha:
