It`s been pissing down here in LA, for this past weekend..... People can`t handle it, and are crashing all over the place.

Rush hour traffic tomorrow is gonna be a total panic Zoo !

The largest temperature difference I have experienced in one day is 69ºc. Started at Bangkok airport with +37ºc, and landed 8 hours later in Moscow with -32ºc. :yikes:

Biggest change I ever experienced was flying out of Rhode Island at 6* and landing at Rosie Rhodes, Puerto Rico where it was 90*F. Stepped off that cargo plane and it took my breath away but didn't take long for this ol southern boy to get back in the groove. Hottest I've ever been was while working on a Merchant ship with no AC one summer shuttling jet fuel between Bahrain in the Persion Gulf to Vietnam. 122 *F in the Gulf. Now that's HOT.

I know the feeling, first time I was in Miami and the doors at the airport open and I went out. I could feel my shirt sticking to my body. But now I'm more familiar with it, it´s the same every time I come to Bangkok, but then I know in advance what to expect. The hottest I experienced was at Patong beach Thailand it was +43ºc or 108ºf. And I can say I didn´t walk fast, everything went in slow motion. :)

Gotcha beat, Larry. When I was in the PG in 87, it was 135º daytime with 95% humidity. Doing the Ditch wasn't much better, except it wasn't nearly as humid -- just plain HOT!

Right now, it's -8º with a wind chill of -21º and snow all over the ground.

It gets warmer here than in LA when summer rolls around. One advantage to living up here -- THE GROUND STAYS STILL!

I've already been on that ride. I ain't gonna ride it no more!

Edmonton on Sunday hit a new low for that day, -46c, -58c with the wind chill. That's -51 fahrenheit with a wind chill of -72 fahrenheit. =D>
It was the coldest place in North America, the only other place that recorded colder temperatures was Siberia. Now that's cold.
I have worked in Alberta's oil patch in these temperatures and it is something you can't explain you just have to experience it.

Temps here in Central WA are in the upper 20s this morning. But the 4" of snow we received last night sure is pretty! (Our first sticking snow of the season.)

The beauty of the snow-covering is worth the cold.
