slow

Post by Merlin »

It is 10:13 A.M. here in Kalifornia, and this site is really slow. Always seems to happen in the A.M. It takes several minutes to load a page. I did the tracert and it took 7 hops which isn't that bad. Why so slow? Do they do all of the server work in the late morning?
Now at 9:26 P.M. it is kicking. Weird.
But good.

It has been slow for me all day. Now it could be my wireless network, but the connection looks good, and other sites are faster, so probably not.

No matter how slow it has been, I have never received the "offline" error.

Latest communication from the host....
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. Currently, we are experiencing the issue with our MySQL server. Also, our engineers are monitoring all the Web sites that are causing the slowness for Web sites since some of the web site uses more resources from server. We have already suspended couple of Web sites which are causing issue on server. We are also planning for upgrading the MySQL servers to a higher version; it should resolve any slowness issues.

slow

Post by Merlin »

Why is this site always so slow in the mornings and normal speeds in the evenings? I know the site engineers said their SQL server is having problems but only in the morning? Weird. Other than that love the site. Thanks to all that keep it going!

Logged on around 3:35pm Sunday. Was very peppy.

Went to post a reply and it took 10 minutes to get to the the screen to compose this reply.

Also has 4 of the "unable to connect" messages. First time for me.

Too bad the geeks did not mentions a time frame in their public response.
