Matt, unfortunately a V8 swap for you in living in England with your smog test laws with regard to engine swapping, extra "modified vehicle" insurance costs and mot testing may make this even more of an expensive nightmare for you. It`s gonna open a whole new can of worms....

I`m working on shipping a 4.3 V6 remanufactured shortblock for you, block, crank, pistons, rings, rods, gaskets everything but heads, all remachined and fitted with oversize new parts, your motor may end up being a 4.6ltr with the overbore.

Thank you for all of your help.

Still looking here for a good second hand engine.. but looking unlikely.

Think I will end up buying parts to reman mine. 4.6 sounds interesting.... be kind on the pricing..any idea of costs?

The engine shop where i have taken my block to be repaired has gone on his holls until Thurs ](*,) will get a list of parts I need when he gets back.

Once again thank you to everyone!

Matt
