v8 swap question

Post by 68gmc780 »

Hi folks, I'm new to this site, been looking at it for awhile, been driving an Astro(s) since 92,really had good luck with them. One day soon when I figure out how I will post some pics of my past, present and future rides.
I just found a 92 Astro EXT RWD with a bad engine about 30 miles from my place. The van is in nice shape only the rocker panels and rear bumper appear to be rusty, interior is mint. The guy only wants 200 plus 20 to trailer it to me.
ANY HOW,I've been researching the v8 swap and I have a 5.7 in an 88 K1500 out back looking for a home.My question is about motor mounts, maybe some other Canadian could help with this, looking for a Canadian supplier for the modified mounts.

JTR won't give me a shipping quote until I commit to buy their product, kinda risky I think.

shipping to Canada for mine was $25, not unreasonable I dont think.. Should be less in the USA.
