I was loading a heavy hydraulic cylinder into the back of my van recently and smacked the rear window so hard that I thought it would break. It did not. Why? I don't know. But I can tell you that the window has been tinted. Did it spread out the force of the blow? I would say yes. Their are Products out there that can add to the strength of glass. After all don't all windshields have a laminate layer? You may just need to add a couple more layers of laminate. Could a laminate be applied in an aerosol form? Sure they could. You need something. Why not find something and give it a try. What do you have to lose? JimMr Singh wrote:Bulletproof glass via an aerosol?astroturf wrote:Have a look here. Wouldn't the same apply to those who want to put larger engines into their vans...draggnastro wrote:i can definately appreciate the time, money and effort involved in this. But unless your competing for money, i cant really see that purpose in that. You cant turn it up that loud and drive it can you?
Not True.draggnastro wrote:Not necessarily, a larger engine could be installed for practical purposes such as heavy towing or hauling and can be built accordingly. Theres only one thing to do with a wall of speakers... break the windshield.

That wall of speakers can also produce better sound than the stock systems found in the average vehicle.
Anything can be justified, and anything can be abused.
