Re: other cool VANS
That just about covers it. From the bizarre to the unique to the very cool. Great post. Thanks. I remember the van craze. Some of those brought back memories.

Re: other cool VANS
this vanfest show for 2010 just was on this weekend up here. I was unable to make it. I think he's somehow related to the running of that event. I know he lives about 15min from me, I've been past his house. for more cool van pics, click on the link below then at the top right there's a link to 'previous run coverage'1Gary wrote:There was a member with the user "Boobvanner" that was well known for his very, very, nice custom vans.I think it has been yrs since I have heard from him.One had a hot tub in the back. Here is the only pic I could find of his flip front end.

Those are all cool!!
I've always loved 4x4 vans, my favorite is a Quigley E350 extended Clubwagon, kind of like the blue one that you posted. I'm not sure if they do the clubwagons anymore. The only bad thing is that they are all automatics. In the 80s, they offered an Econoline with a manual trans, I've seen at least 2 Quigleys built from these. One was a 300 6cyl, and the other was a v8 of some sort.

Re: other cool VANS
I like automatics better because you get more take-off power. For a big van like that you need a V8, or better yet, diesel.
