Suprise! Christmas came a little early this year.

Post by T.Low »

About 3:30 yesterday (Sunday) I'm streaming the Wings game on the laptop in the garage while i doing some sheet rock repair downstairs, my wife comes home from grocery shopping and ....bingo bango she's in labor. The Wings were up 2-0 at that point and I was running the laptop thru my Bose speakers, so as I was timing her contractions I could hear that Filppula scored. As I was loading the Murano I heard they won 4-2 with Dan Cleary getting the last goal.

We rolled into the birthing center at 5:55pm, and Jen popped that little sucker out at 7:33pm; (all natural, no drugs!) a beautiful little Olivia Mae Lowell. Home by 11pm.

Jen was awesome. The due date wasn't until Dec. 15.

Merry Christmas everybody.

congrats Tom!! =D> Merry Christmas to you, Jen.. and little Olivia :bounce:

I knew I had some sort of odd feeling inside when the player covering Filppula decided just as the wings were entering their zone it was a great time for a line change and allowed Filppula to skate right in. it was a beautiful goal.

your first?

I noticed that you were more concerned with the Wings game at first. What? No panic mode?

Yes, this the first for each of us...and i'm no spring chicken!

Ha! I'll have to watch the highlights on NHL.com. Jen brought up the name Olivia Cleary Lowell, and we still may actually use it. She thinks Cleary is an all round excellent player that walks the walk, has skill, grit, and work ethic, and truely thankful for his place in the world; everything we want in a little girl, and she really likes the sound of the name for it's own sake.

Thanks for all the great replies guys. You're a great bunch.

I've never been one for babies or baby pictures myself, but his one has a permanent seat in my van! Merry Christmas to you all.

Jen & Livsey.
