Re: Welcome back Peter
Hey guys!
Thanks for the warm welcome!
It's been a hectic coupla yrs. As most of you already know, Dad passed away over 3 yrs ago. Almost immediately, the relationship between my brother and I became tense(r). Faced with a shotgun clause, I bought him out under less than amicable circumstances and have been extremely busy since. Company's doing great and the transition was better than I could have ever expected. I enjoy going into work again, even if I do have to actually "work"
Yes, ZZ's sold. Believe it or not, her biggest issue was a leaking fuel line under the truck. But I was so preoccupied with work and so sucked dry emotionally, I'd had enuf and sold her. And please don't ask for how much, it still hurts to think about it. Thank god I never expected her to be an investment to begin with. But I don't regret any part of it, not the build, nor the experience. It changed my perception of who I was and what I was actually capable of.
I still have the Tramper, didn't have the guts to even try to sell her. Worked out well because I'm getting back into hunting and hoping to tow her to my next moose hunt (which I haven't participated in in over 15 yrs), which usually is a 5-7 day event. I'll either tow her with my 07' FJ Cruiser (which I traded my SRT8 in for last March), or maybe try out our soon-to-be-retired 05' awd service van.
And that's it, in a nutshell. Again, thx for the warm welcome
