need help with radio
how would i go about removing my nonfunctional radio and re-installing another of the same type in my 1998 astro thank's for now

pop off the plastic around the dash and radio. It should slide right out i memory serves me. If you arent good with soldering, take the project to your local car audio shop. They could use the biz.

thank you for the tip, but it a 1998 don't relay want to give somebody 300$ for a radio will try to fix it myself just trying to get some tip on how to go about it again thank you

if you are switching in the same unit it will be simple plug and play

The removal process of the radio is a relatively simple process as the panel in front of the radio/HVAC control/instrument panel is just held in with clips. Once removed, the radio also just pulls out of the dash once the tabs on either side of the radio are pushed down to release them.

well i just finish replacing it and had no problem replace with one of the same type of radio and it work's for less then 10$ very happy thank's everyone for the support save me some major money and now have my radio back very happy
