Wipers went nuts

Post by JTalley »

On my way home from Taco Mayo, I saw some bird droppings on my windshield. I twisted the wash lever, and nofluid came out. I just filled it. Thinking it was somehow empty, I released the button, but the wipers kept going. No matter what I did, they wouldn't stop. I jiggled the switch, I twisted it back and forth, everything. Finally, they stopped- right in the middle of the windshield. When I got home, I twisted the switch around, trying to get it to work, but they kept going, even in the off position. They would go for ages, then stop somewhere randomly. I couldn't get them to go down and stop.

What's the problem?

The switch sounds like a good place to start.
