I'm looking at some new wheels for my van. I've learned that full size Chevy and GMC vans used a wheel that looks just like the truck rally but it's 15x6.5 instead of 15x8. I like the narrower wheel for ease of fitment, and I found a set on bay for a decent price. However, the set I found doesn't have trim rings or caps. Caps are easy, they're probably all the same but I don't know if the trim rings would fit. I'm pretty sure the rings are sized for the width of the wheel. I doubt the rings for an 8 inch rally would fit the 6.5 inch wheel, but I wonder if trim rings for a 7 inch Camaro rally wheel would fit this 6.5 inch van rally.
Anybody know?
The wheels I'm thinking about look like Loopie's wheels, but not as wide.

Re: Rally Wheel Trim Rings
After some more research it seems that either trim ring will work on wither wheel. I also found a source for skinny 1 1/2 inch rings which I actually like a bit better than the deep 3 inch rings. Here's a picture from a truck forum that illustrates the difference pretty well.

I just don't know if the wheel in the picture is 8 or 6.5 inches wide.

Re: Rally Wheel Trim Rings
i may have a set of those rings (the skinny ones) brand new* out in the garage if you are interested.
*Years ago when i had a Suburban and needed new tires, i was able to get a deal on some new take offs from a conversion shop. I put the wheels on but never installed the rings which are still wrapped in the plastic.
If you would like i'll pull them out and get a pic for you.

Yes, Justice, if you could get a pic that would be great. No rush, just in the next week or so would be fine.
Thanks!
