Hi,
I've followed the steps to adjust the loose in my steering (screw in the steering box) but it did nothing. No change at all. The ball joints and all other parts in the direction have been checked and don't show any problem. Is there another part except the steering box where the loose can come from?

Check the idler arms. I know you said everything was checked but the idlers are the number one cause of bad steering.

My neighbur, who is a mechanical has just found my problem. He squizzed the joint at the base of the steering colomn and the loose disapeared. Just a small part to be replace. Yeppy! I tought I have to change the steering box!
