I have a 2000 Astro with steel leaf springs. Are these leaf springs built like "normal" leafs with a centering bolt? I'm wanting to lower my van and do it with a home brew setup, before I start tearing everything out I want to know what's under the mounting brackets.
I have lowered a lot of trucks, but EVERYTHING on the Astro is different I figure the leafs are different as well.
A pic of my homebrewed drop on a fiberglass spring Astro. I'm probably going to do the same on my new van. This drop is Ebay axle saddles, and a sectioned mounting bracket.

Re: Leaf spring question
Yes the leafs are normal with a single centering bolt. They also have thin spacers between the leafs.
