Well, looks like the inner rim diameter is smaller than the outer. Sort of like short course race truck wheels used on RC cars? I dunno. Looks like crap.

I think it looks that way because the tire has been "stretched". It's a really awful way to make a poor mans low-profile tire.97CargoCrawler wrote:Well, looks like the inner rim diameter is smaller than the outer. Re: Astro Heaven ???
You Guys nailed it.
What I saw at 53 seconds was a difference in the inner rim diameter from the outer rim. I went digging for this thing that I saw. I found that these rims made by Asanti or Lexani were popular in the mid 2000s. They were the Poor Mans answer for bigger rims. The tires were made by Nitto. A unique upgrade if that was your thing.
Would I do it? NO.
Just thought I would share what I had seen on that lesser van site. You Guys are a lot smarter and picked up on it right away. They did not. Congrats...

Forgot to add...
The inside rim diameter was 22 inches and the outside was 27 inches.
Hands up in the air, Jim

Re: Astro Heaven ???
Exactly right, Jim. Our domestic car makers are making things that look more and more Japanese, meanwhile they're buying Astros! Following this trend, we should be back to good old American cars in say... 2040?
