Possible I guess, but very stupid. Bet someone was too cheap to replace them both when one snapped.
If I discovered that, I'd be replacing both.

Damn!!! guess i'll be buying a torsion unloading tool, and all the bs that goes with it!!! man my A.D.D. kicked in when ibought this one wow!!!

hey green you don't really need an unloading tool or c clamp either to remove the torsion bar, all you need is to relieve the pressure on the bars which can be done by simple lifting the front wheels off the ground, the only reason to use the c clamp is if you want to remove them without lifting the vehicle off the ground...
99 astro awd ls package, 3" bodylift, alarm system w/remote start, tinted windows, tranny cooler, modded air intake, bigger power steering cooler, hood struts, westin pushbar, hypertech tuned running on 91 octane, Hypertech 160* thermostat, 1 ton calipers and pads (not much of a difference as i expected)30" tall tires 245-65-17 on jeep wheels
