lighting questions..

1) my DRL's haven't worked since i got the 99 and I've been told to check the connections on the module. which, i believe is in the drivers door pillar? (which pillar) if that's the case, anyone have a pic or two or where exactly .. and/or instructions on how to actually get to said module?

3) on my 94 the DRL's worked when I got the van. I removed the fuse to run only the parking lights. a couple of mths ago I reinstalled the fuse and it blew. I think it was a 10amp. should I up it to a 15amp ... or look for some other problem? btw... my headlights are now the H4 conversion bulbs. they shouldn't pull more .. but do they, over the sealed beams?
