How do I know which compressor I have, and does it matter?
How can I tell if the compressor is a H6 or a HT6? Does it matter which I use, or is one for no rear air and the other for rear air? I have a 2000 astro with rear a/c if that helps.

When I replaced the compressor on my '96 there were no such designations. I used a Delphi.

Even with front and rear a/c, there is only one compressor. I'm not certain the two distinctions you mentioned though.

Groovy, an HT6 it is, then. It is slinging ac oil out of the front seal, so now I can get the ac going again, and have it able to actually hold charge.
