Day o fishin!

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but...
Good day of fishin with a bad ending. Checked my regulations book for a open river to fish and headed for the east carson river,thats the pic! Not even a nibble. Headed home,on the way home I saw a couple guys fishin the west carson and stopped,cought three rainbow almost imediately then got a ticket cause east is open west is not. Funny how its open where the fish arn't. My bad of course but I think a warning was in order. Also funny how warnings went away with the stable economy.

so,same thread different day. I have two topics to address today,first I fished Indian Creek resevoir today! Cought nothing,too windy,the wind made me really want an anchor on my kayak which I researched when I got home. Instead of making my own super easy to make anchor trolly I put a new fishing kayak on layaway,should be paid off by my b-day in march! A "Native Ultimate 12" if anyone is interested. Been eyeballin this one for a while,I don't fly fish yet but I will and this kayak u can stand in! I will post pics of it as soon as it's mine! By the way I bought the super stripped model so I still need an anchor!?.

Nor Cal,yesterday was the last of the fishin weather for now. There is 6" of new snow on the ground this morning! I will get a pic of the van rallying in it later.

Tis the season,might have to put the fishin gear away and start waxin skis and boards.
