Snowshoe racing 2013

As some of you know, Ben has been snowshoe racing for a few years and I decided last year to run as well but due to no snow and an injury, I didn't race much. Well this year I am healthy although slightly out of shape. We had our first true snowshoe race today. It was called Frozen Assets and is held Harriet Hollister State Park in Honeoye, NY. Ben did awesome coming in 6th overall with a time of 27:58 and I did ok with a time of 38:35. The course was very powdery snow with little traction and went for 2.75 miles.

Looks like fun. I didn't race today. We don't have snow yet. :muhaha: :muhaha:

Good stuff Dean, was wondering if you guys would be doing this again...now I know, good luck and stay injury free.
