buying another van

I put an ad on craigslist in NH looking for a parts van and got an email from a guy an hour away he has a 1993 Safari ext passenger van. He says the van was used by his daughter for 3 years of college and she graduated and bought a new car so she gave it to him. It sat for about a month and he went out to start it and it is not getting fuel. He offered it to me for 400.00 dollars. I am going to look at it next week and bringing my car dolly just in case. I have pics of it............

Recently bought a 1989 Astro RS from Florida. Replaced stock engine witha 1997 5.7 vortec with TBI and replaced transmission with rebuilt 700R4 with mild shift kit.
Bought on Monday the 16th of April 2012

i know where you can get a wiring diagram manual for that van.... :whistle:

I have both the schematics and the service manual (GM) for my 89 RS I got them both from ebay. But thank you. Justice

I bought it but due to heavy fog I am towing it tomorrow.

I got the van home and I still need to find out why its not getting fuel but its kinda loaded with options, 3:73 with posi. sport suspension. tilt, cruise, ac, power door locks and windows, its a CPI 4.3 and the fuel pump was replaced 30,000 miles ago and the spider was replaced/rebuilt last summer. Any ideas on what could cause no fuel let me know as I am not knowledgeable on CPI systems.

Check ECM fuses.
