Sick and tired of AWD meaning one in the front /one in the rear wheel drive. Pulled out the open rear diff and slid in a Torsen. Three wheel drive is almost AWD!

On my way home last night I'm stopped at the intersection of Hollywood Blvd. and Highland when none other than Charlie Chaplin strolls over to my window with top hat and cane in hand. He pops his heads in the window and says, "This is how we roll right here motherf**ker!"

He spoke! :supz:

Van hit 190k last week and still going strong.
I wish it would get warmer though. Dad and I have agreed that this summer, we'll redo the interior of the van. The walls and floor fabric are definitely showing their age with some small tears and old cig burns from the P.O. (It's still far nicer than a ton of ones I've seen for sale and all but a couple in the junkyards though). I have 3 sets of wood...figure I'll pick the best pieces, restain what needs to be restained, and install them. My wood and vinyl covered abs window ledges are well worn.

I started to remove the gas tank from my 93 Safari to replace the fuel pump. I got it sitting down on the drivers side because the bolts on the passenger side were close to breaking. Its suppose to rain so I wrapped it up for today. But I decided to cut the hole in the floor to finish this task come From Friday morning. I will come back on after its finished.

Put new Trico Neoform wipers on it! They seem to work very well. I replace mine every 6 months anyways.

Just been driving it. The van is by far the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned :)
Had to get the rear diff replaced on the equinox 2 weeks ago....44k miles and 8 years and the rear end goes out.
Also been working on getting everything for the stereo setup in the caddy. Only thing keeping me from doing it is not being able to find 8 AWG ring terminals that can fit over the seat belt bolts so I can ground the amps.

Hooked up an LED to monitor when/how strong my AWD is active. Install was very easy but I did get some funny looks as I did in my dorms parking lot .

I haven't had my AWD kick in on dry pavement yet as other have reported but it lights up nicely with less traction.

Then while on a standard late night ice cream run, i was eager to show it off. Then got the van stuck.... Fortunately a drop in tire pressure was able to get me out but still.
