Want specs for a custom rear, 9" or otherwise?

Post by peter »

In case anyone wants to have ready specs for ordering up a custom 9" (or any other model for that matter) for their Adtro/Safari, here you go. These measurments are spot-on and I wouldn't change anything about 'em even after all this time. You can take this to the bank.

PS: Maybe worthy of being stickied????

Peter,
The drawing on the left side came out alittle dark.Could you post it again and make it alittle lighter or write out those measurements? What is the measurements for welding on the rearend the spring mounts and shock mounts?.

Thanks Much,

You're on your own there, Gary (or should I say GEJ? :muhaha: :muhaha: \:D/ )

The critical measurements are outside of axle flange to outside of axle flange as well as center of pinion. The rest is l'il gurl stuff :yawinkle:

Hey Petey?.... Are those measurements in Canadian inches or regular inches? If Canadian, what's the conversion factor? And does it change like the value of your money? (I mean, since the Canadian dollar has grown stronger to our dollar since you took these measurements, will I need to subtract... or add?... to come up with the correct width?....)
