Has anyone here ever used a CPI fuel pump in there TBI van? If so what did you have to do to make it work?
I am installing a 5.7 vortec with TBI and I have a brand new fuel pump and sending unit for a 1993 4.3 CPI Safari van. I can not send it back because rock auto has a rule about sending back parts after the 30 day time so I wish to use it.
I will most likely have to install a fuel pressure regulator that is adjustable but otherwise I don't know. Thank You, Mark

Recently bought a 1989 Astro RS from Florida. Replaced stock engine witha 1997 5.7 vortec with TBI and replaced transmission with rebuilt 700R4 with mild shift kit.
