Rubber Gromets on Air Cleaner Assembly

Post by KitsapSteve »

I was doing to looking at removing and cleaning my MAF sensor, on my 2002 Astro , and I noticed that there are 2 rubber grommets that hold this assembly in position, and one is pretty toasted,,,cracked and splitting...and Idea where I can locate a new set...

A bone yard that lets you pick your own parts would be my plan.
'04 White AWD Astro cargo

'71 BSA B50 engine in a '67 C25 250 chassis
Impossible is just a degree of difficulty....

Or you could get large grommets on line from McMaster Carr.
Or even call Chevy dealer or www.gmpartsdepartment.com on line
Or what i did with 2 inch lift kit which caused the air cleaner snorkel to have a gap to the grommet, i used about 3/8 diameter vinyl hose to extend the reach of the grommet to plastic tap engagement.
