99 Astro AWD : New to the rig!

As soon as I can afford to, this unpredictable automatic, no low range having transfer crap case is getting swapped out for a 4wd case from an S-10! Also need to replace my completely rusted out non-existent rocker panels with steel tube! And skid plate the bottom! It won't be an offroad rig (I have a heavily built unfinished NissanProject for that!), but a nice snow and tow rig

Trans-cooler is coming from the K2500 I think what I'll be doing is using the whole 4L80E tranny with transfer case from the K2500

How are you going to control the 4L80E? The electronics are going to be different than the 4L60E.
