Just got the call I feared would come someday

While at my shop yesterday a phone msg was left for me.It is a lawyer in Florida concerning probate court.My mother is in her mid 90's and I never got a call she had passed.But that is the only thing I can think of it would be about.Kind of hurts no one called me before this.It was too late to call back yesterday,so later this morning I'm going to get ahold of this lawyer.

I haven't been home since the mid 1970's and saw both of my parents from time to time since when they came up here.Now my mother being the last one left.

I have never dealt with probate before and I don't know what to expect.If I need to go down there or not.

Being I live alone,my head is swimming some.Not sure why I posted about this.Guess I needed to tell someone

This sucks.She died May 23.A lawyer did some research and it was him that found me.A sister that we hate each other never bother to look and let me know.God Damm it!!!.

My mother has done a fantastic job of alienating herself from everyone...I finally had to put some distance between us as she was not safe around my kids. I suspect to be in your exact situation at some point...sorry.
