99 Astro AWD camper (under construction)

I am curious about what you did with the bulky interior plastic trim along the floor behind the cabinets on the driver side. Did you remove this or did you find a way to work around it without losing the entire bottom 6" of cabinet space. Also, how deep are your cabinets? I want to build a set that reaches from directly in front of the 3rd row bench seat (2nd row removed) to the back of the driver seat, and is as tall as the bottom of the window.
