Howdy from San Diego County!

Post by srdragonusa »

Hello Folks,

I am new to your forums as well I am new to Astros. I picked up a 2003 AWD EXT with 53K it also has a camper type shell. I am using it as a RV/Work Van. I have been on on trip already and have already done a few upgrades. I'll post some pics soon.

Welcome. Nice low mileage rig. I would like to see Interior shots of that high top when it works.

So when I got it it was unfinished, I have since lined the high top with Reflectix and a thin carpet as a headliner. I still have a bunch of finish work but it looks much nicer. I also built a box in the back, nothing new to anyone here but just my take on it. Since I have the topper I have plenty of headroom to have the bed lay on top of the folded down seats. Pics to come

Hey Herbie,

I bought my Van from someone in Rancho Bernardo area, it was actually being used as an Ice Cream Truck. I'm in North County, Vista. Looking forward to maybe checking out your awesome Van.
