Just curious... have you checked to see if you have fuel pressure?

Re: 1999 astro dead
That doesn't mean squat. If the pump isn't pressurizing the fuel enough, the vehicle won't start.Chevyhulk wrote:It stinks of gas. So I got gas.
I've used pumps that wouldn't start the vehicle any longer to pump out the tank before putting in the new pump.
Replace with ACDelco/Delphi pumps only, unless you really enjoy replacing pumps.

Re: 1999 astro dead
Ignition module is good. I don't have 5 volts at the key. That is the problem. Don't know why that is.
Re: 1999 astro dead
So the coil is firing, but it's not getting to the plugs, sounds like you found your problem.Chevyhulk wrote:got spark going into the cap but nothing coming out.
Re: 1999 astro dead
The problem is that spark goes into the cap but doesn't come out. Now how do I fix that? Thats the real problem.
Re: 1999 astro dead
If it has the proper wires going to/from the proper cap, through the proper rotor then it should be working fine. Something along those lines is non functional.
Re: 1999 astro dead
From what I've read the passlock Alarm can kill a vehicle. Just died driving down the road
