Grill Guard
Grill Guard
I am looking for a grill guard for my 96 Astro. Does anyone know where to find or purchase one?

Re: Grill Guard
Welcome to the forum. As far as a grille guard it's finding something that you can make fit. I am currently planning to adapt a Hummer H3 OEM front bumper, and a Landrover discovery OEM Grille guard, adding a custom brush guard. I usually go to Pinterest and youtube along with web searches for what I am looking for.
Hope that helps. I will be posting my Frankenstein Front bumper/grille guard project in the near future.

Re: Grill Guard
Hi,
Get 2" lift kit first before grille guard.
Chevy/gmc truck grille guards are the correct width.
You need to have a metal fabricator cut, weld or bend up some custom 1/4" steel mounting arms. The arms attach to Astro bumper frame bolts. Use heavy cardboard to make a mock up bracket.
I have Manik grille guard, aluminum I beam Romeo rim safety bumper and Trail Gear winch plate. On my 2003 AWD Astro with 2 " lift
