WOOOOT!!! :canuk: :canuk: :canuk:
Go Stephanie!!!

When I sat your ride to go get coffee I did not know what would happen if it split ... I would probably drink it off the upholstery and cry "please dont kill me!" - very clean interior!

Not to worry the story of the tramper will one day be told again and can then be past down to future generations for their enjoyment :D

As a matter of fact the owner up in "kabeck" (very creative Zam) use to have a mind-bottling post count. Well I guess he better get back to some post-whoring and get those photos back up eh?

The SPB is awesome, I wish I could purchase it from you.

Now that's the look right there. So 5" of lift plus 1" from air shocks and 32s? What kind of maintenance issues were you having at this point?

Can we have a link to the previous VOMs?

Go in thru the home pg to see the Forum,VOM,Chat,Archives (this is where the old VOM'S are ) Thats why the Home pg was redone,so folks would use it. ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

Anyways, Great pick for VOM. Thought I knew most things about the SPB but apparently I was WRONG,LOL . Seems like just yesterday you were welding on that behemoth plate of steel you call a front bumper.Great narration and choice of pics Dean its a vehicle to be proud of, the SPB will always be my favourite off-roadin van, glad I got the chance to wheel it

It's only money....just sign on the bottom line! :poke: :muhaha:

The reason I went from the IFS and 32's was that I was going through a set of Moog idlers every wheeling trip! That and the fact the front diff is notoriously weak and we were trying to do harder and harder trails is why I want to a solid axle up front. Other than the idlers, there were no other maintenance issues. Eventually I would have had to put a new diff in, but I never went that far. Once I pulled the front diff apart (a year later to sell it), I found that I actually had chipped several of the teeth on the ring gear. I would imagine 1 or 2 more wheeling trips would have destroyed it. Lockdoc has now broken 2 front diffs wheeling. Once you get to a level where you need a spotter, it is time for a massive upgrade!

Congrads Dean

You and your van are the direct link to this forum for me :supz:

After purchasing my '99, I googled:Astro snowplow,to see whether it had been done.
Well,Dean's van appeared and the rest is history.
