This is the real motor.
I am in the process of making a custom oil pan. I am using an old cracked block to do the fitting and welding. You thought I went off the deep end.

I'm going to make a larger pan with both a front and a back half.
Going around the font axle.

Nah, I'm just poking fun. The valve covers with the center bolt holes won't fit. I will have to order the slimmed down version.
.....We got our tax money back and we had planned on installing cupboards in the laundry room (I would install) and my wife tells me that she wants me to take that money and get the rest of the parts I need for the Tran! She said she can wait a year for the cupboards... What a gal!
Would I be a butt hole if I took the money to use on the truck? I know, I'm asking the wrong group here...
Damn, "I'M" in love with her.... =D>
You wanna make her day? Bring her home a dozen roses and a HANDWRITTEN card letting her know how much you love, appreciate and adore her. I promise you that it'll be the best gift you could ever give to a woman of that calibre?
PS: Does she have a sister or cute mommy?

What does it say about my moral fibre that I just achieved major wood, simply by looking at that pic?

There is nothing wrong with that! I get a different emotion. It makes me tear up every time I see it.
In a good way…

Well, you were doing great 'till the part about being tall. Unless she enjoys having her man munch at her ankles....
My God, if Libby reads this I'm gonna be "going without" for quite some time

Some guy on third Gen called me crazy for putting this motor in a "mini" van.
I gave him a nice Christian response...

I believe it was a near stock 350, EBL controlled single TBI motor in a huge van. You mean he doesn't have a Camero? Oh, well he stompted on my astro feelings...
Maybe I am a bit crazy?
