For once, I actually dis-agree with Potskie. Safari's are very...uh.....how to say this and be politically correct at the same time? Ahh, to hell with it, Safari's are very "welfarish". It's a common fact that people who own Astro's are generally in a class of their own. Smart & edumacated (un-like me 8-[ ), they have a certain "savoir vivre", a certain "Je ne sais quoi", a certain.....well, you get the idea.
But, and I want to make this clear, Astro owners are also loving, caring individuals who purposely intermingle socially with our distant low-income, poorly-edumacated Safari-drivin' cousins. We do so out of compassion and love.

Yes indeed, Astro owners are definitely a breed apart, and they're proud of it :supz:

The Astro size and shape is awesome. the swoopy doopy cross overs vehicles can't fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood or a bicycle without taking off the wheels.

Too bad GM wasn't able to put a better front spindle and make the turning circle tighter, that is basically my only complaint with the Astro.

Maybe the Astro could come back with a small V8 with 8 to 4 cylinder shut off feature like the Tahoe.

or a diesel V8 like the new Jeep Cherokee or the Sprinter van.

I smell a rat!

Some low-down, yella-bellied, lily-livered, sap-sucking turd(ette?) editted my post to read that Safari's are KaKa and Astro's are yummy. Nothing further from the truth. Only thing I ever found an Astro useful for is turning it into a camper :butthead:

I want....no, wait, I demand that this transtesticle of justice be corrected ASAP. Otherwise, I will be forced to contact the League of Nations World Court and demand that justice be served!
