did u ever fix the problem with the front lock doors ?
i have the same problem, my two front doors make the click sound but locking the doors, so is the switches the problem or not? cos they are like $30 a piece and if is not the solution i rather save my money,
so anyone knows what shall i do?

I know this is old but I see no fix reported. On a 1st gen van, I had similar problems and the cause was broken wires in the bundle going into the door at the front jamb, pass side.
