That looks like a great option. Any details on the build? Thanks. Jim

Sorry mate this is a picture that I grabbed years ago. You could search through all the Astros at
http://www.streetsource.com/ownerprofil ... rch=Search to see if you can find it.

I love that orange van and have that same picture along with a few others of the same van. I don't remember it having a “how to” any where with it. It was just some pictures of it being show out side of a shop, like it is shown here. Suicide is a great way to go if you want different and I do but doubt I can pull that off. I can rebuild any Chevy engine / trans but body work is not my high point. For a good body guy it shouldn't be too hard. The hinges are out there to buy it is just the doing that would make it or break it. If any one pulls this off I would love to see and read how it was done. I know it was done on the front doors either on this forum or on that other site, name with held to protect the innocent, namely me. LOL

I remember a post I saw somewhere where somebody had split the slider in half and hinged it like the old style vans had as an option.

Suicide door would work the best. I think the one I am remembering was suicide. I too am not good with body work. I wish I would have saved it when I saw it but at the time I didn't need it.
