Wack, I don't know you, but I have to congradulate (is that how it's spelled?) you on the soberity. You have made it through all the rough and tough times of getting clean. A lot longer than most people I deal with on a daily basis (I work for a substance abuse rehab). Good job and keep it up.
And yea, it's funny how life repeats itself. After 22 years I am living back in the neighborhood I grew up in, without drugs and alcohol, but with wife and kid. Seeing a lot of my old friends, some of which cleaned up their act also.

,,,let me know when you're ready for a V-8
Funny you should mention. I found myself sitting in the van the other night contemplating this very thing. I do have some limited funds available that I WAS planning on spending on the vehicle that currently resides in the Henry Ford section of the garage but maybe the van needs a v8
more than the Ford needs tires and wheels. I have about 5 months before I am getting my license back so time isn't too much an issue. I have garage space if one of the Parental units will graciously allow the truck space at their place for a while. I have some spare cash to devote to the plan. The van is a good candidate. I even have most tools I would need. Last time I got all v8 crazy I ended up watching a torn up van being hauled off to the wreckers but then again the odds were sort of stack against me and I was 15 at the time. Will be giving this some serious thought and browsing the v8 swap section for more info. I think I have the skills to pull off the swap. I have pulled 2 engines, three transmissions and two rear ends from these vans before and even managed to get some of them running again after, lol. In the meantime Thanks a lot for the kind offer Rebel and the encouragement from everyone else.
