i've watched pretty much all of this thread and this caught me. i think i've heard of transmissions causing vibration (i wonder where i saw that...) did it really reduce the vibs that much?
or was it the mount that caused the reduction in vibration?

i'm pretty sure it was the mount...

muffler installed this morning, i must have gotten the quietest Flowmaster ever made. no rumble or droning at all... :-k

anyway...shocks will be next...

I'm with you, usually the mount. The bushing in the tailshaft can cause vibration when worn also.

Good to hear that your making progress Justice! Not many '87s around here even worth working on with the rust and all.
