I'll start a new post on just this, but for now I'll thow out the length of the 5.9 6bt is about 35" long, and a hefty 900lb just the engine. Torque and HP are right @ 2 to 1 ratio.
Exp. 200hp = 400tq :-k
Its a DIESEL thing!

Some have considered the 4BT due to its smaller size and the fact some applications use the TH350 or 400 (don't recall which).

I know a guy who just put a 6BT into his Ford Excursion. It was a reasonable swap since mounts and other parts are available.

Obviously you are in unchartered waters here! Looking forward to the build!

Last time this came up the question was asked if it would be complete with a valve cover mounted cup holder...thinking it was so long that it would be way into the van. I can't wait to see it.

Naw, I think the key is to push the front of the engine forward... maybe make a bump out in the grille! :muhaha:
